Imagine replacing all those rotary switch stack and antenna switch boxes and attached cables with a simple yet very flexible system. The ShackLAN-4 Control Center software can do all that and more. It is configurable to your station and be operated in standard or touch screen mode and controls all your antenna switches over a single USB connection using our ShackLAN-4 USB interface. The above screen shot is the full touch screen mode. If you do a lot of antenna switching, you can't beat a touch screen display. Once you use it you will never go back to manual switches or mouse driven software. Many inexpensive small touch screen displays can be found at www.short-circuit.com. It can select your main and receive antennas as well as handling operation of most popular antenna rotators. Automatic band selection is available when used with our UBC-12 Universal Band Decoder. The Control Center software also allows selection of multiple antennas simultaneously. This control system is unbeatable when you have multiple antennas on a band. ShackLAN-4 supports up to 8 antennas on each band and the Control Center makes accessing those antennas simple. Labels for all antenna buttons are customizable for each band and unused positions are not shown, making a clean display, and the antenna selection buttons automatically update when changing bands or radios. The Control Center is perfect if you have guest operators. All antenna switches and options are in one place in an easy to use interface. No struggling for the guest operator to learn which switch does what on which band. All button colors are fully customizable to suit your personal preferences. The rotor interface includes support for up to 8 rotors and each antenna selection may have its own rotor assignment. Simply selecting an antenna will also select the proper rotor and turning your antennas could not be easier. Just touch or click the point on the rotor display you want to aim your antennas and everything else is handled automatically. There is also a virtual keypad to enter headings manually. Below are screen shots of the various configurations. There is also a feature to let you set where on your desktop to place the cursor and generate a click after each button press. This is used to automatically restore the focus to your logging software after each button press or click in the Control Center. The ShackLAN-4 USB Interface is available for easy access to the network in case one of the other ShackLAN-4 products is located too far from the computer. It is required for those with more than a single operating position. It provides a complete data interface between your PC and the ShackLAN-4 network.
