The ShackLAN-4 antenna switches handle up to eight antennas are are available in single or two radio configurations. Each switch is capable of handling 1500W. Arrangement of the switching system mechanically prohibits both radios accessing the same antenna. We also offer RX antenna switches in both 1x8 and 2x8 configurations. The RX switches use a different relay configuration that allows both radios to access the same RX antenna. These switches, as with all our products, are built with high quality components. All RF connectors have Teflon insulation and gold plated center pins. Designed for the rainy, salty Pacific Northwest, our rust proof enclosures are made of fiberglass reinforced polyester with stainless steel hinge and latches and fully gasket cover. With our switches there is no need to seal your coax connectors as they are out of the weather. The enclosure has mounting flanges at top and bottom for easy wall mounting or hanging on a tower.

| The dual radio version provides more than 60 db of isolation between the two radio ports as shown in the graph at the right. The 6 primary HF bands are marked by the vertical red lines. The plot shows isolation of 64 db at 30 MHz. This means that 1500 watts on one radio will be reduced to less than 1 milliwatt on the other radio port. |

| Our switches can be controlled manually with Controllers pictured at right. Commands from these controllers override commands from the UBC-12 Band Decoder and our ShackLAN Control Center software. The manual control boxes are optional because, at Hamation, we don't believe in making you purchase items you don't need. If you plan to control your antenna switches only with our band decoders or control software and do not need the manual controllers you do not have to purchase one. This helps up provide you with the best value in antenna switches. |

Unique to the ShackLAN4 lineup is our integrated switch controller. The integrated controller is similar to our 1x8 controller but has a built-in band decoder with all the features of our UBC-12 Decoder. These controllers can be used with both of our 1x8 and 2x8 switches. The controller can be set to radio 1 or radio 2 when used with 2x8 switches. Combining a manual switch controller with a band decoder makes this unit one of the best values you can find for antenna switch control.
